Ducarmel S Desormeau is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Movement Therapist with over ten years experience in the healing arts. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, he attended Miami Dade College majoring in Liberal Arts.  In 1996, he relocated to New York and began working as a promotion consultant with a natural health magazine where he was introduced to a wide array of healing methods.

In 2000, Ducarmel began practicing an arts form called Capoeira Angola, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, fight, acrobatics, music and spirituality. Through his love for the art, he began to practice yoga and Qigong while studying massage therapy at NMTI in Pennsylvania.  He continues to further his education through seminars and worshops on massage and movement therapy.

As a movement instructor, he has worked with various high schools, universities, spas and fitness clubs.  Now a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist, he has developed the Lemba system of healing combining movement, breath work and massage to create a program to improve flexibility, core strength, balance, body awareness and wellness.
